Lower Piedmont is known as the land of wine with amazing landscapes characterized by rolling hills that lead all the way to the Appennino (lower Alps). It’s difficult to find hills that are not covered by well manicured vineyards that look like a perfect geometric composition. There is no better way to explore this territory other than on a bicycle or even better with an e-bike. The slow speed and the silence of a bike allows you fully appreciate the spectacular views every time you come on top of a hill or go around a curve. The scent of blooming trees in the spring or mature grapes in the summer fills the air during your rides.

On this bike tour, you will be immersed in beautiful sceneries, enjoy wonderful authentic Italian food and taste exceptional wines from this region. It’s only after you experience all of this, that you will truly understand the Italian lifestyle. These unique experiences and emotions that will stay with you forever.

This tour will allow you to discover the beauty of Piedmont and all this region has to offer with its food and wines. We will be riding at your own pace through the beautiful hills of Gavi and Tortona with frequent stops to admire the landscape. You will have the opportunity to visit the best wineries in the region and learn how wine is made directly by the winemakers. Massimo, the owner of the family owned hotel were you will be staying, is also a well known chef that will teach you the secret of some of his signature dishes and he will prepare one amazing dinner directly with you. This area is also known for its famous chocolates and sweets, this is why we will be visiting a local artisan chocolate maker.

This is a unique opportunity for everybody (doesn’t matter your biking skill level) to explore Piedmont on two wheels pedaling between lush vineyards, or through little towns with small bakeries and cafes.

You will be staying in a cozy family owned hotel located in the spectacular Borbera Valley for the entire duration of the tour. The hotel owned by Massimo and Emanuela is the perfect expression of the Italian simplicity and dolce vita life style. Enjoy yourself next to the pool or relax in the quite surrounding by reading your favorite book after a good bike ride.
