Tour Piedmont at your own pace

[smartslider3 slider=2]

These tours will take place in the Gavi Hills  in Piedmont,  located 90km from Milan, 115km from Turin, 50km fom Genova, lower Piedmont is known as the land of wine with amazing landscapes characterized by rolling hills that lead all the way to the Appennino (lower Alps).

There are many ways to explore the beautiful lower Piedmont region- you can join one of our guided tours or you can do a “self-guided” tour riding at your own pace following our turn by turn GPS. Self-guided tours are great for people who want to really explore and enjoy the territory because you get to decide when and where to stop. On your self-guided bike tour, we arrange the activities you want to want to do, such as winery tours, truffles hunting, visiting a historical castle, salami tasting and much more.  The accommodations are located in areas where you can easily depart with your bike and ride on small country roads with little traffic. This territory, in addition to great views, offers exceptional food and wine as well as a great shopping experience at the Premium Serravalle Outlet, the largest outlet stores in Northern Italy.

E-Bikes or Regular Bikes

Piedmont is a hilly territory and this is why we offer e-bikes for our guests. With our e-bikes, you decide on the level of assistance you want and this allows everyone to ride in all types of terrain. The bikes have a range of about 40 miles. You will be amazed how easy it is to climb hills. On the other hand, if you decide to challenge yourself and get some serious exercise, you can drop the assistance to zero and it will be just like riding a regular bike. We also offer regular road bikes for more experienced cyclists.

Lower Piedmont is very well known for its wine and food culture. This is why we give you access to some of the most traditional wineries and food artisans in the area. You will not only visit the wineries and taste the wines, but you will also speak and interact directly with the people that make the wine. Lower Piedmont is also the region of the white truffle, and depending on the season, we can arrange a truffle hunting demonstration done by local truffle hunters. This is also the place where the Montebore Cheese and the Salame Nobile del Giarolo are produced. We can also arrange a visit to the local producer of these two great specialties where you will learn the cheese and salami making process. We build bike tours that are tailored to your interests.

Transfer and Surroundings

You’ll be able to visit one of the largest Italian shopping outlets which is located just minutes away from where you will be staying.

The fabulous Cinque Terre and Portofino are just an hour away by train and this is the perfect way to explore this beautiful part of Italy. The train stops in Monterosso and from there you can walk from one town to another or you can simply take the ferry, which is an unforgettable experience.

You could also reach and visit Milan, Turin, and Genoa in less than one hour.  These cities are also well connected by train or car.
